Account Bans

Helios may temporarily or permanently ban an account when a user violates platform policies or engages in behavior that puts other users or the platform at risk.While a ban is active, you will not be able to sign in or access your Helios account.

This article explains why bans are issued, how long they may last, and what to do if you believe a ban was applied in error.

⚠️ Why Accounts Get Banned

Accounts may be banned for reasons including:

  • Violating the Code of Conduct or other Helios policies
  • Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward other users
  • Fraud, scams, or deceptive activity, including fake profiles or misleading information
  • Spam or platform abuse, such as unsolicited messages or attempts to manipulate the platform
  • Sharing illegal, harmful, or prohibited content
  • Repeated or serious policy violations after previous warnings or enforcement actions
  • Any activity that creates significant risk to other users or the Helios platform

Depending on the severity of the violation, Helios may apply a ban for:

🚫 What Happens During a Ban

While your account is banned:

You cannot sign in to your Helios account.
You cannot access your profile, messages, services, gigs, files, or other platform features.
You must wait until the ban expires before regaining access, unless the ban is overturned through the appeals process.

Check your registered email for a notification from Helios explaining the reason for the ban and its duration.

Review the policy referenced in the notification.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I be notified if my account is banned?
Yes. Helios will notify you by email whenever reasonably practicable. In some cases involving security, fraud, or legal concerns, action may be taken immediately.
How long will my ban last?
Ban durations vary depending on the violation and may range from a few minutes to a permanent ban. If your notification includes an end date or duration, access will be restored automatically when the ban expires.
Can I access my account while I'm banned?
No. You cannot sign in or access any part of your Helios account until the ban expires or is successfully appealed.
Can I create a new account during a ban?
No. Creating another account to avoid a ban is a violation of the Helios Terms of Service and may result in additional enforcement actions.
What if I think the ban was a mistake?
