How to Change Your Email Address

Overview

Your email address is used to sign in to Helios and receive important account notifications. If you need to update it, Helios uses a three-step confirmation process to make sure the change is authorized from both your current and new email address before it takes effect.

How to Change Your Email Address

  1. Go to your Settings and navigate to Manage Account then to the Email Address field.
  2. Enter your new email address and click Save.
  3. Check your current email inbox for a confirmation email from Helios. Open it and click Confirm Email Change to authorize the request from your existing address.
  4. Check your new email inbox for a second confirmation email from Helios. Open it and click Verify Email to verify ownership of the new address.
  5. Once both confirmations are complete, your email address will be updated and you can sign in with your new email.

Check your spam or junk folder. If the email is not there, return to Settings and request the change again. Make sure your current email address on file is correct before resubmitting.

Check the spam or junk folder of your new email inbox. If it does not arrive within a few minutes, confirm that the new email address was entered correctly and request the change again from Settings.

Do I need to confirm from both email addresses?

What happens if I only confirm from one email but not the other?

The change will not be applied until both confirmations are completed. Your email address will remain unchanged until the full process is finished.

Can I use an email address that is already linked to another Helios account?

No. Each Helios account requires a unique email address. If the new email is already associated with an existing account, the change cannot be processed.

  • Complete both confirmation steps promptly. Confirmation links may expire after a set period of time.
  • Add support@helios.supplies to your contacts to make sure Helios emails reach your inbox and don't get filtered as spam.
