Claim Your Business Profile
Overview
What Is Claiming a Business Profile?
Some businesses on Helios have directory listings that were created before an authorized representative joined the platform. These listings are known as unclaimed profiles.
Claiming a Business Profile allows an authorized representative to take ownership of that listing and connect it to their Business Profile. During the claim process, you'll review existing listing information and choose what data should be carried forward.
Once your claim is approved, you'll become the administrator of the Business Profile and gain access to business management features across Helios.
Who Is It For?
This guide is intended for:
- Business owners and executives
- Authorized employees
- Company administrators
- Approved third-party representatives acting on behalf of a business
You should only submit a claim if you are authorized to represent the company.

How Verification Works
To protect businesses from unauthorized claims, Helios reviews all profile claim requests before granting administrative access.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be asked to verify your affiliation using one or more of the following:
- A company email address
- Business registration documents
- Employment verification documents
- An authorization letter from company leadership
- Company website or public business listings
Using a company-domain email address is often the fastest way to verify your affiliation.
What Happens During Review?
After you submit your claim:
- Your claim enters the verification queue
- Your profile may be temporarily unpublished
- Profile edits may be restricted while the claim is under review
- Helios may contact you if additional information is needed
- The claim will be approved, denied, or returned for additional verification
Review times vary depending on the information provided and the complexity of the verification process.

Tips
💡 Use a company email address when submitting a claim whenever possible. This is often the fastest way to verify your affiliation.
💡 Review listing information carefully before submitting your claim. The merge process is a good opportunity to identify missing locations, certifications, capabilities, or company information.
